You might want to look at absoluteBUSY web CRM. It is simple and one of the fastest web based products. It is not free, but pretty cheap and runs on any webserver with PHP and MySQL. Free evaluation versions are available. There is also a LIVE demo on the website.

How about SugarCRM. it's a Open Source CRM, but it's very complete feature. There's 3 Edition of licence. Open source, professional and enterprise (look at http://www.sugarcrm.com/crm/products/edi... ). SugarCRM is build base on PHP. So you only need internet explorer to access this, no additional software. And there's many people create the module for this CRM. You can add your module into SugarCRM.Go to http://www.sugarcrm.com
Other CRM is CiviCRM based on Drupal CMS. but it's still new and beta. many bug when the first beta edition installation.

sugarcrm is one solution, it's free and open source.
If you're looking for a way to extend Act, personal crm has been doing that for several years.
