Good question. The short answer is the SAP MM covers some SCM functionality, but really no CRM stuff. The long answer… SAP R/3 modules like MM and SD cover a lot of functionality. MM, or Material Master, covers all material master data. It also covers some basic SCM functions, like Materials Requirements Planning (MRP). SD, or Sales and Distribution, covers order taking and fulfillment, which is also part of SCM For more advanced Supply chain functionality, there are advanced planning systems, one of which is another product from SAP called APO.
