How To Apply For Uk Hsmp Tier1 Visa? What Are The Prerequisites?
Dear Experts,
I am a Indian Citizen, working as a SAP CRM Consultant since last 3 years of onsite experience. Recently I have returned from abroad and now would like apply for HSMP Tier1 visa in order to get a job in UK.
I have even qualified for UK HSMP points evaluation. But I don’t know how to apply for HSMP and I could maintain required funds (2800 pounds) in my personal bank account.
Can I Directly apply for Tier 1 visa? If so where can I apply for it.
What documnets should I prepare. Can I directly apply for the visa in Chennai UK embassy?
I request your suggestions to get a clear understanding on this process.

The conditions to apply are as follows,
1) UK equivalent Masters degree (Ph.D degree from India, if u studied there).
2) Must be working for 15 months prior to apply of with, your income should be UK equivalent to £40,000 per annum (That means your yearly Indian income converted into UK pounds & then multiply it with 5.3 & sum is over £40,000 then u r eligible).
3) Maintenance funds of £2800 in ur bank for the past three months.
The above three are mandatory, rest are optional if u score in those categories, then ur chances are brighter.
4) Age (extra points for younger people).
5) UK experience (if u have worked one or more years in UK in last 5 years then u get extra points).
Yes u can directly apply it (u dont need anyone to represent you). Rest of the procedure is described in full detail in the website I have printed below.

(Side Note: UK Job market is suffering badly, I will not recommend apply for Tier 1 in current circumstances, instead I’d suggest if u apply in or after June 2010).
